Earth wished to give up revolution,
Thinking it should be her resolution.
She was believed to have reached
A point on the orbit that ceased
The existance of a framed year
Which displeases one's ear.

Petrifying animals, polluting air,
She once again became a ball of fire,
Like her chauvinistic polygamic spouse,
Who confined her to his vast house.

Animals, petrified.
People, betrayed.
Air, polluted.
